Treasurer's Report:
- There were 10 deposits made since Nov. 21, 2011, totaling $2.787.75 of which $1,915.00 were dues and $987.75 were donations towards Christmas families.
- We wrote 13 checks for a total of $2,103.17.
- We have three checks that have not cleared the bank, totaling $378.00. Two were written November 14, each for $100.00 as memorial checks for deceased Knights, John Schlueter and Paul Jaixen.
- After adjusting a bank balance of $5,241.37 by deducting the $378.00 in outstanding checks and a $500.00 set-aside reserve, we have an operating balance of $4,363.37.
- We deposited $1,915.00 in dues. We deposited $777.00 for Christmas families. We deposited $210.75 for Christmas cards. We deposited $35 for the grill rental.
- After expenses, we still have $114.52 from our Christmas Family donations. This balance will be allocated to next year's Christmas Family fund.
- We came out ahead $32.75 on our Christmas cards.
Grand Knight's Report:
- We donated $280 recently toward the purchase of an ultrasound machine for EPS. Last Thursday the State Council gave a check to EPS for a $25,000 ultrasound machine made possible by matching funds from the state and supreme councils.
- Bob Murnan needs help with the Free-throw competition on Jan. 17.
- The next officers' meeting will be Feb. 13. The next General Meeting will be Feb. 20.
- The Pancake Breakfast will be Sunday Jan. 22.
- We will be handing out prayer cards before and after Mass.
- The Semi-Annual Audit will be Feb. 6.
- The State Convention will be the last weekend in April in the La Vista Conference Center.
- There will be two Tootsie Roll Drives this year: 1 in April and 1 in March.
- We are thinking about starting a college scholarship fund.
- We passed a motion to set aside the money we didn't spend from our Christmas family donations for next year. We passed a motion to get a new battery for $135 for one of the AEDs.
- We voted to decline Sr. Rita's request for a donation for her travel expenses to lead a retreat for the deaf in Miami.
New member status:
- Mel Kluthe will talk to 3 or 4 potential recruits.
- There will be a Major Degree in Bellevue in February.
District Deputy's Report:
- St. Joan will be getting a touring Icon which is going from parish to parish from Feb. 13 to Feb. 18. We will pick the Icon up from St. Bernard's on Feb. 13 and on Feb 18 it goes to District 4.
- The District Free-throw Contest will be Feb. 19, 6pm at Christ the King. The Winners will compete in March at Skutt.
Field Agent's Report:
- Lois Mitera's front steps are in need of repair.
- We should try to recruit 1 member a month for the next 5 months. We must use the new membership forms.
- Council 3019 has a degree ceremony the 2nd Monday of each month, but call to confirm.
- There will be a Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament March 3 at Our Lady of Lourdes.
